Living/Dining Room
Enjoy chilling out and relaxing in our cosy lounge and dining area after a day out on the fells. There's a log burner to add extra warmth to your evenings and plenty to keep you entertained with smart TV, Playstation 3 and a big box full of board games and cards. We also have all the Alfred Wainwright books so you can plan your next adventure!
Bedrooms
Our main bedroom, a double, on the first floor has a lovely view of Muncaster Fell.
Next door is a twin room which contains a selection of children's books for our younger guests.
Finally there is a further double room on the top floor with a handy "trundle" bed which can be made up on request.
The Kitchen
Our kitchen was refurbished in early 2021 and is fully equipped with a double oven, induction hob, microwave oven, toaster and kettle.
We've provided everything you need to prepare your meals, with a variety of kitchen utensils, pots and pans and most importantly there is a dishwasher!
Basic kitchen provisions such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, tea towels and cloths are also provided.
Bathroom
Our large modern bathroom was refurbished in 2021 and is now complete with walk in shower, large separate bath (perfect for a long soak after a hard days walking) and underfloor heating.
The Boot Room
To the rear of the cottage is the 'Boot Room' where you'll find a washing machine, tumble dryer and second bathroom. This is also a great place to dry out any wet gear, with heated shoe rack and airers provided.
Our Garden
We have a small garden with seating where you can enjoy the surrounding fell views.
